<재구성 및/또는 해체의 평행선; 아마도 (II)> The Parallels of Reconstruction and/or Deconstruction; Possibly (II)

〈재구성 및/또는 해체의 평행선; 아마도 (II)〉는 경험과 아이디어의 가능성을 새롭게 서술하며, 보존과/또는 변형의 의미를 끊임없이 형성하고 재조명하는 이동형 종이 모빌 조각 연작이다.

일시적인 존재로 나타나는 이 작품은 연약함과 회복력, 그리고 시간의 흐름을 드러낸다. 주변적 제약과 종이라는 섬세하면서도 강인한 재료를 직관적으로 다루는 행위 사이의 미묘한 긴장 속에서, 사람과 장소 특정적 공간, 재료를 연결하며 공간과 건축의 접힌 구조와 상호작용한다.

정해진 끝이 없는 연속적 연작은 이동하는 과정 속에서 비영구적인 기억의 장을 만들어낸다. 이 작품은 마닐라 에스콜타의 아르데코 유산 건축물인 퍼스트 유나이티드 빌딩(FUB)의 나선형 계단을 따라 처음 설치되었으며, 진행 중인 종이 모빌 조각 연작의 

두 번째 재구성으로 2026 금강자연미술비엔날레의 자연미술관Ko에 설치되었다.

작품의 지속성은 작품이 (펼쳐지고 다시 접히는) 과정에 참여하는 사람들과의 상호작용에 기반한다. 이는 불확실성에 대한 두려움과 변화를 향한 열망 사이에서 이루어지는 균형의 행위이며, 정지와 움직임 사이를 오간다.

The Parallels of Reconstruction and/or Deconstruction; Possibly (II) is a travelling paper mobile sculpture series that retells the possibilities of experience and ideas, continuously taking shape and refocusing what preservation and/or transformation could be.

Its ephemeral presence offers a glimpse into fragility, resilience, and the passage of time, bridging people, site-specific spaces, and material through a quiet tension between peripheral limitations and the intuitive manipulation of paper — 

a seemingly delicate yet resilient material that interacts with the spatial and architectural folds.

The indefinite, interconnected series creates chapters of its impermanent memory as it travels. It is installed first along the spiral stairs of the First United Building (FUB), an Art Deco heritage building in Escolta, Manila. The second re-adaptation 

of the ongoing paper mobile sculpture is installed at the Natural Art Museum Ko as part of Geumgang Nature Art Biennale 2026.

Its longevity is based on the interaction of people as it (un)folds — a balancing act between the fear of uncertainty and the yearning for transformation, in stillness and in motion.
