<햇살의 방> Sunlight Chamber

〈햇살의 방〉은 도시 속에서 빛, 안식처, 생태, 그리고 인간 존재 사이의 관계를 탐구하는 장소응답형 환경 조형 작품이다.

철제 프레임에 대나무를 고정하여 제작된 이 작품은 관람객이 내부로 들어와 머물고, 함께 모여 하루 동안 변화하는 햇살을 경험하도록 이끈다. 여과되어 들어오는 빛과 그림자, 공기의 흐름, 그리고 유기적인 형상은 능동적인 요소가 되어 도심 속에서 자연을 감각적으로 인지하도록 돕는다.

이 공간은 안과 밖, 인간과 자연, 개인의 성찰과 공유된 경험 사이를 잇는 물리적이자 상징적인 문턱 역할을 한다. 관람객이 안으로 발을 들이는 순간 그 존재만으로 작품이 활성화되며, 햇살은 공간의 분위기와 형상을 끊임없이 변화시킨다. 〈햇살의 방〉은 

날씨와 시간, 빛, 그리고 인간의 존재가 함께 만들어내는 머무름과 공존의 일시적 공간을 창조한다.

Sunlight Chamber is a site-responsive environmental sculpture exploring the relationship between light, shelter, ecology, and human presence within the city.

Constructed from bamboo fixed to a steel frame, the work invites visitors to enter, pause, gather, and experience sunlight throughout the day. Filtered light, shadow, air movement, and organic form become active elements, encouraging sensory 

awareness of nature within the urban environment.

The chamber serves as a physical and symbolic threshold between interior and exterior, human and nature, and individual reflection and shared experience. As visitors enter, their presence activates the work, while sunlight transforms its 

atmosphere and form. Sunlight Chamber creates a temporary space of coexistence shaped by weather, time, light, and human presence.
