<세상의 시작> The Beginning of the World

유충이 나무의 속살을 파먹은 뒤 어느 순간 번데기에서 성충으로 변해 하늘을 난다. 인간의 화려한 비상과 경이로운 과학 문명의 발전도 결국은 지구를 좀먹으며 이루어지고 있는 것일 뿐이다.

A larva burrows into the flesh of a tree and feeds on it. Then, one day, it emerges from the pupal stage as an adult and takes flight. Likewise, humanity's dazzling progress and the astonishing advances of science and technology have ultimately been achieved only by eating away at the Earth.
