<세상의 영혼> Anima Mundi

이 작품은 움직이는 인간의 형상을 표현한다. 몸은 미래를 향해 역동적으로 나아가고 있으며, 클래식한 포즈는 깨달음의 순간 — 자신이 탐구하는 이유를 비로소 알게 된 바로 그 직후의 찰나를 포착한다.

그는 오른손에 등잔을 들고 주변을 환히 비추며, 특히 나무가 서 있는 자신의 내면 깊은 곳을 밝힌다. 이는 내면을 탐색하고, 밖으로 나아가며, 명상에서 행동으로 이행하는 과정이다.

양쪽 폐 사이에 자리한 나무는 생명을 상징하며, 나무가 우리의 존재에 얼마나 중요한지 상기시켜 준다. 생태계는 인간 없이도 지속될 수 있지만, 인간은 생태계 없이는 살아갈 수 없다.

타로 카드의 '은둔자(The Hermit)'에서 영감을 받은 이 인물은 인류와 자연을 다시 연결하여 새로운 순환을 시작하는 보편적 존재, 즉 '아니마 문디(Anima Mundi, 세상의 영혼)'로 스스로를 변모시킨다.

The sculpture depicts a human figure in motion; the body is dynamically projected toward the future, and the classic pose captures the immediate instant after a moment of realization, when the individual knows the reason for their quest.

With his right hand, he holds a lamp, giving light all around but especially inside himself, where the tree stands. He searches within, steps out, and moves from meditation to action.

The tree, as a symbol of life positioned between the lungs, reminds us how vital trees are to our existence. The entire ecosystem can survive without us, but we cannot survive without it.

Inspired by the Hermit Tarot card, the figure transforms himself into "Anima Mundi": a universal being who reconnects humanity and nature to initiate a new cycle.
